Allen Bill Pond
A young man seeking God crosses paths with a damsel in distress. What might come of this? Besides the obvious, that is to say. Well, if one is idealistic enough, and I was, and philosophical enough, and I am, it might just lead to the most thorough-going working analysis of romanticism ever undertaken.

Although Allen Bill Pond is a work of fiction, it is highly informed by my own experiences. It is a story about spousal abuse and forbidden love. But it is about far more than simply a relationship. It is a reckoning of the 'romanto' of Anglo-American romanto-materialism, the de facto popular religion of our culture.
